“Our story is the story of the universe. Every piece of everyone, of everything you love and everything you hate, of the thing you hold most precious, was assembled by the forces of nature in the first few minutes of the life of the universe, transformed in the hearts of the stars or created in their fiery deaths.
And when you die, those pieces will be returned to the universe in the endless cycle of death and rebirth. What a wonderful thing it is to be part of that universe. And what a story, what a majestic story.”
Professor Brian Cox, Wonders of the Universe.

Let’s see, well since my last real post, I have lost a few pounds (like 2-3) with diet changes and exercise which is nice. I have been using the Nike Training Coach app which is pretty neat and it kicks my butt too. I’m working on strengthening my knees and legs to be able to run a 5k. So far I am able to run two miles. That is a pretty amazing feat from that girl in high school who could barely make half a lap around the track. I will get there eventually.
I also have been working on a my list of resolutions. I am going to have trouble with the reading 40 books one because I’m in school and the books I am looking into are 300-600 page books so perhaps those can count as 1.5 or 2. I am currently reading At Home by Bill Bryson and am in love. I was in love with his style and subject matter when I read A Short History of Everything.
Lets see my list includes doing an international bar crawl in the city, the usual go travel to fin places, go on my second World Vets trip and dance. I think these are reason able goals for this year.
By the way, I’ve been having a lot of zombie nightmares lately too. I think this 2012 thing is getting to me.

Confetti Eggs | Oh Happy Day
These confetti eggs are a traditional Easter party item, but I think they would be perfect for New Years Eve! You’re meant to smash them over each other’s heads, so if you decide to use these you might want to have a less fancy bash or at least warn anyone who has copious amounts of gel or hairspray in their hair, or anyone who spent the day at the salon getting their hair done. That’s for guys and girls! Or you could go for something else inside the eggs, like confetti (though that might be hard to get out of hair too!)
So I think I might make this a health tumblr for myself. Damn holidays made me put on a few pounds. Thank you cookies and cake and cookies and cookies. Actually, thank you to all our clients who thought of us during the holidays and brought us tons of snacks. It’s appreciated.
Anyway, I started yesterday eating healthy and whatnot. Oatmeal for breakfast, spinach salad for lunch, an apple, Quakes, lots of water, I had every intention of going running but I don’t do that first thing, it’s just not going to happen. I am able to run 2 miles now which is a milestone for me. I only managed that once in my life and then I happened before earlier this week.
I am trying to find some other cardio to do besides running because I don’t want to kill my knees but I’m not sure what I would enjoy doing. We shall figure it out
Today is starting off well I suppose. A serving of peach yogurt and a bowl of cereal. Baby steps. I need to make sure that I fit into all the new clothes I got for Christmas.

A Very Obsessive Over-Analysis of the Ron/Hermione Kiss to Such an Extent that People Actually Want to Murder Me For Being Pathetic (a.k.a. AVOOARHKSEPAWMMFBP) Part 2.
These observations are all Ari’s, by the way. I just giffed/photoshopped them to make it into a proper post. :)
Dear FSM this is ridiculous yet I love it.
